The CHASING Laser Caliper is an underwater measurement payload for the CHASING M2 and M2 Pro ROVs, projecting two green laser points at a fixed 10cm spacing onto the target surface to provide an accurate on-screen scale reference for dimensional measurement of underwater objects, structures, and features. Enables diver-free underwater measurement for infrastructure inspection, structural assessment, and public safety ROV operations requiring dimensional accuracy at depth.

Accurate underwater dimensional measurement has traditionally required a diver in the water with a physical measuring tool. The CHASING Laser Caliper changes that. Mounted to the CHASING M2 or M2 Pro ROV, it projects two parallel green laser points onto the target surface at a precise, fixed 10cm spacing — providing an accurate, on-screen scale reference visible in the ROV's camera feed from the surface. Operators can measure the size of objects, cracks, corrosion zones, marine growth, and structural features in real time without diver entry. Green laser wavelength ensures high visibility in the ROV camera feed even in low-light and turbid underwater environments. An essential payload for infrastructure inspection, underwater structural assessment, and public safety ROV operations where dimensional accuracy at depth is required.
