The Radar Systems Zond Aero 1000 NG is a universal 1000 MHz GPR system engineered for both airborne and terrestrial surveys. At just 1.8 kg in airborne configuration, it is one of the lightest GPR systems compatible with medium-sized drones such as the DJI M350 and M300 RTK. Real-Time Sampling (RTS) technology and advanced built-in DSP deliver exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and high-quality subsurface data across three deployment modes: UAV-mounted, wheeled cart, and tow rope — making it the most versatile GPR system for field operators who need one system for every survey condition.

1000 MHz RTS GPR. Airborne or Ground. One System.
The Zond Aero 1000 NG combines Real-Time Sampling (RTS) technology with advanced built-in digital signal processing to deliver exceptional signal-to-noise ratio at 1000 MHz — resolving small objects at shallow depths with high confidence. In airborne configuration, the system weighs just 1.8 kg and is powered directly from the drone's payload power socket, making it compatible with medium-sized UAVs including the DJI M350 and M300 RTK. For ground surveys, the integrated NANUK protective case houses a 99 Wh Li-Ion battery for up to 12 hours of operation. Data is output in standard SEG-Y format with trace geotagging for direct GIS and geophysical processing workflow integration.

Three Deployment Modes. One GPR System. The Zond Aero 1000 NG operates as a UAV-mounted airborne GPR, a wheeled cart system for roads and confined spaces, or a tow-rope-dragged system for surfaces where a cart is unsuitable — giving field operators a single, versatile instrument that adapts to any survey condition without additional hardware investment.

Real-Time Sampling. Exceptional Signal Quality. RTS technology with high hardware stacking delivers scan rates up to 2,500 scans/s and sample rates up to 1,280,000 — capturing 32-bit raw data with selectable time ranges from 71 ps to 1 ns for precise, high-resolution subsurface profiling at 1000 MHz center frequency.

IP68 Protected. Field-Ready in Any Condition. The NANUK protective case provides IP68 ingress protection for ground survey operations, while the airborne configuration maintains IP52 rating — with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C and 96% non-condensing humidity tolerance for reliable performance in demanding field environments.
