The SkyHub Methane Detector Software Package integrates Laser Falcon and LMC laser methane detectors directly with the SkyHub onboard computer via dedicated firmware. Sensor initialization, configuration, and data stream management are handled automatically from mission start. Methane concentration data is captured continuously, timestamped, and georeferenced with UAV GPS position and telemetry — producing survey-grade gas concentration maps ready for GIS analysis and regulatory reporting. Live concentration data streams to the UgCS companion application on the ground station throughout the flight, enabling real-time anomaly detection and immediate operator response to detected leaks.
