Overview

The SkyHub Software Package for True Terrain Following enables high-precision, real-time AGL altitude control using a connected radar or laser altimeter — not pre-loaded elevation models. By continuously reading live surface distance and adjusting UAV altitude in real time, it maintains a precise, consistent ground clearance over complex, variable, or unmapped terrain. Essential for GPR, magnetometer, and other proximity-sensitive survey payloads where sensor-to-surface distance directly determines data quality.

Unlike GPS-based terrain following that depends on pre-loaded DEM/DSM accuracy, the SkyHub TTF software reads live altitude data from a connected radar (24 GHz) or laser altimeter and continuously adjusts UAV flight altitude to maintain a precise, user-defined AGL distance above the actual surface — in real time, throughout the entire mission. The result is consistent sensor-to-surface distance over hills, slopes, vegetation, and unmapped terrain, enabling safe low-altitude operations and survey-grade data quality for GPR, magnetometer, echo sounder, and other proximity-sensitive payloads. Compatible with DJI M300/M350 RTK and Pixhawk/ArduCopter platforms.

Radar or Laser Altimeter. Your Choice. The TTF package supports both radar (24 GHz) and laser altimeter types — radar for high reliability across diverse terrain and vegetation, laser for regulatory simplicity in any country. Select the altimeter that matches your operational environment and compliance requirements.

Consistent Sensor Distance. Better Survey Data. For GPR, magnetometer, and other proximity-sensitive payloads, sensor-to-surface distance directly determines data quality. TTF eliminates altitude variation caused by terrain changes — delivering the consistent ground clearance that high-quality subsurface and geophysical survey data demands.

Altímetro láser: se puede utilizar en cualquier país, pero no funciona de forma tan fiable en diversas condiciones ambientales y sobre superficies muy reflectantes, como agua, hielo, nieve y arena (bajo el sol brillante).
