The SkyHub Software Package for MBES is SPH Engineering's dedicated add-on that integrates multibeam echosounder systems with the SkyHub onboard computer. Delivering automated, georeferenced MBES data acquisition synchronized with UAV position and telemetry, it provides the complete software stack for the EchoNIMBUS-MBES system — enabling real-time depth monitoring via UgCS and generating dense 3D bathymetric point clouds for bottom modeling, volume analysis, and GIS deliverables from a drone platform.

The SkyHub MBES Software Package provides the complete firmware and application layer for integrating multibeam echosounder systems with the SkyHub onboard computer. Sensor initialization, configuration, and data stream management are handled automatically from mission start. MBES data is captured continuously, timestamped, and georeferenced with UAV position and telemetry — producing survey-grade bathymetric profiles ready for 3D point cloud generation and GIS processing. Live depth data streams to the UgCS companion application on the ground station throughout the flight, enabling real-time quality control and coverage verification before the drone returns to base.
