43,200 Points/sec. ±2.0cm Accuracy. 4D Data. Two Range Configurations. The Unitree L1 LiDAR.
The Unitree L1 LiDAR is a high-performance 4D LiDAR sensor delivering 3D spatial positioning plus 1D grayscale data at 43,200 points per second — purpose-built for robotics, autonomous navigation, and spatial mapping applications. Available in two configurations to match your mission range requirements: the L1 PM (Precision Measurement) for close-range, high-accuracy environments up to 20m, and the L1 RM (Remote Measurement) for extended-range operations up to 30m. Both variants share identical ±2.0cm measurement accuracy, 11Hz circumferential scanning, 180Hz vertical scanning, and Class 1 eye-safe laser classification.
Configuration Options
-
L1 PM LiDAR — Precision Measurement ($499) — Optimized for close-range, high-density scanning up to 20m (@90% reflectivity) / 10m (@10% reflectivity). Ideal for indoor navigation, obstacle avoidance, and precision mapping in confined environments.
-
L1 RM LiDAR — Remote Measurement ($599) — Extended range scanning up to 30m (@90% reflectivity) / 15m (@10% reflectivity). Designed for outdoor navigation, larger space mapping, and applications requiring greater detection distance.
Key Features
-
4D Data Output — Captures 3D spatial position plus 1D grayscale intensity data for richer environmental understanding and object differentiation beyond standard point cloud sensors.
-
43,200 Points/sec Sampling Rate — High-density point cloud generation at 43,200 points/sec (21,600 effective) for detailed, real-time environmental mapping.
-
±2.0cm Measurement Accuracy — Consistent, precise depth measurement across the full scanning range for reliable navigation and mapping data.
-
180Hz Vertical / 11Hz Circumferential Scanning — High-frequency vertical scanning combined with circumferential rotation delivers comprehensive spatial coverage with minimal latency.
-
Integrated 6-Axis IMU — Onboard 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope enable motion compensation and stable point cloud output even during dynamic robot movement.
-
Class 1 Eye-Safe Laser — IEC60825-1:2014 Class 1 certified — safe for operation in human-occupied environments without additional safety precautions.
-
Anti-Glare Capability — Operates reliably in high-ambient-light conditions up to >100KLux — suitable for outdoor and brightly lit indoor environments.
-
TTL UART Interface — Simple, low-overhead serial communication interface for straightforward integration with robotics platforms and embedded systems.
