The FluX Ammonia Core Sensor measures ammonia (NH3) and water vapor (H2O) simultaneously — using the H2O measurement to correct NH3 readings for humidity-induced interference in real time. Water vapor is a primary source of measurement error in uncorrected ammonia sensors, particularly in agricultural environments where humidity levels vary significantly across survey areas and seasons. By correcting for H2O at the point of measurement, the FluX NH3/H2O sensor delivers accurate ammonia concentrations across the full range of atmospheric conditions encountered in field operations.
