Overview

The SkyHub Software Package for GPR is SPH Engineering's dedicated add-on that integrates Radar Systems and Radarteam ground-penetrating radar systems with the SkyHub onboard computer. Delivering automated, georeferenced GPR data acquisition synchronized with UAV position and telemetry, it transforms any SkyHub-equipped drone into a precision subsurface survey platform — ready for utility detection, void mapping, pavement assessment, and infrastructure inspection from the air.

The SkyHub GPR Software Package integrates Radar Systems Zond Aero and Zond-12e, and Radarteam Cobra Plug-In and Cobra CBD GPR systems directly with the SkyHub onboard computer via dedicated firmware. Mission-triggered data acquisition synchronizes GPR capture with UAV position and telemetry — producing georeferenced subsurface profiles ready for GIS and geophysical processing without manual data alignment. The UgCS companion application provides real-time GPR sensor control and data monitoring from the ground station throughout the flight. Requires SkyHub Core Software Package and UgCS Expert or higher.

Four GPR Systems. One Software Package. The SkyHub GPR package supports Radar Systems Zond Aero and Zond-12e alongside Radarteam Cobra Plug-In and Cobra CBD — covering airborne-optimized, multi-channel, compact, and broadband GPR configurations for the full range of drone-based subsurface survey requirements.

Georeferenced from the First Pass. GPR data is captured with synchronized GPS position throughout the mission — producing georeferenced subsurface profiles that integrate directly into GIS platforms and geophysical processing workflows without manual coordinate alignment or post-flight data merging.

UgCS-Integrated Mission Control. The companion UgCS application puts GPR sensor control and real-time data monitoring at the operator's fingertips during flight — enabling immediate quality assessment, acquisition parameter adjustment, and mission confidence before the drone returns to base.
